Nordex is a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, and is a driving force for forward thinking and innovative energy solutions. They are World Wide, and have chosen Vestkran with its long experience in the wind industry as a partner for the Nordic countries to perform all small and large complex lifting operations. This agreement gives Nordex a secure channel where they can now run multiple projects in parallel with a single crane supplier.

Vest Kran is participating in the building the world's most eco-friendly shopping center. We place great emphasis on safety and the job is carefully risk assessed and planned with our customer Skanska. Our goal is to make this project as eco-friendly as possible; an environmental budget is set up and all consumption is measured. Finally all CO2 emissions are measured, this is a new standard that Skanska follows.

Oslo Airport Gardermoen is expanding and increases the capacity. The terminal is expanded by 117 000m², a new pier is being built, 21 parking spaces for aircraft and a new baggage handling system. We in Vest Kran are proud to be part of the construction of the central building west.

Wednesday November 13th the Swedish Crown Princess visited Piteå municipality to take part in the initiatives of renewable energy.

Enercon has engaged Vestkran to plan and execute lifting on Europe's biggest wind farm to be built outside Piteå in Norrbotten.
