Vest Kran has actively participated together with Kruse Smith AS in the planning of this work. Great emphasis has been done with the planning of the lifts, the progress and of course the safety of the project. Our client expects highly qualified personnel, a crew that is mulitidisiplinary and can be used for different tasks within lift technology. Here, our company can boast of extensive experience from similar projects.

The Glulam we use is manufactured in Germany and transported to Oslo by the Kiel ferry . At the dock Vest Kran is waiting, ready to transport them to the prefab warehouse at the airport. There, they are assembled and prepared for transport to the assembly area . With such large scales this is a challenge in itself.

To transport the laminated material we use a seven axeled Goldhofer SPZ flatbed trailer with extendable. The Glulam consists of three parts that are put together to reach a total length of 91 m and a weight of 160 tons.

We have several cranes in use on this project , including a Terex CC 2400 and Terex AC 350 as auxiliary crane . The remaining cranes are used on assembly and other activities.

It should also be noted that Vest Kran also participated in the first development of Gardemoen, which took place in 1994-1995.

There has been a lot of activity on this project with many subcontractors and heavy traffic. Vest Kran has approx . 20 emplyees on the project and we are extremely proud of the feedback we have received from our client regarding our crew.
