Sharp and postive, with a masters degree in law finally in place at the office, meet our new sales secretary Stine Aksnes.
Her Masters degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Bergen was about the science of law and she has experience in real estate. With expertise in business law, Aksnes will work mainly with contracts and matters relating to law and justice in the workplace in general.
Issues that are important to employees are also areas to work with.
-It may be legal issues in relation to employment, insurance, working hours, duties and rights of employees in relation to companies, she says.
-I am used to work that requires a strong focus on customers and service. I've gotten used to relate to close customer relationships, which requires a lot of respect for other people and their needs. To learn and recognize and interpret other people is an exciting challenge and important in all contexts.
Stine Aksnes has roots in Hardanger and lives in a house from 1910 in Gravdal just outside Bergen with her partner and a 1-year Gordon Setter. -We have just gotten the dog and it does not like being alone, so we almost need a babysitter, she laughs. Stine laughs often and is easy to talk to, but according to herself she dosent't laugh either at lawyer or other TV-series on television. -I do not know why, but I like more to be with other people and experience excitement, and then it will be fun.
To be a lawyer one can not be afraid of conflict or unpleasantness. Stine says she has always liked to discuss and promote her views. This has also helped her to develop good cooperation skills, but also a confidence in working independently with individual customers, and her own work.
-I have in both of my previous jobs had clients with different nationalities and are used to communicate in English, both written and oral. With good humor and willingness to work I will be hard to crack, says the lawyer and laughs heartily.
