Dytman speaks German, Polish, French in addition to English fluently. He can communicate in all major languages ​​in Europe and is thus a very important cog in Vest Kran. Crane operators with diverse languages are in demand by foreign project managers because the flow of accurate information between workers means a lot for safety, comfort, economy and understanding on construction sites.

Marek has worked in steel mounting in Luxembourg earlier, but liked the job of crane operator better. In Germany only a driver's license for heavy vehicles is required to work as a crane operator. Marek decided to seek employment in Norway and thus had to take the test for crane operator at Rogaland Crane School to continue working as crane operator. The European could not speak Norwegian but still completed the course and acheived an incredible 99% correct answers on the exam. The 29-year-old has now been operating mobile cranes for eight years, the last four for Vest Kran.

-I have worked very hard to gain confidence in Vest Kran and started out operating the three-tonn mini crane and eventually got to operate the bigger cranes. Now I'm sent to facilities everywhere and am told what equipment to use for doing the jobs. Dytman operates everything from mini-crane to the 400-tonn cranes, but AC200 is his favorite.

-The Demag is not too long or large, but it is strong enough for larger and heavier lifting and has a long and strong boom with great range. The machine has features that make it truly versatile. I especially like the sensitivity of the hydraulics because it is very easy to control during labor. I feel I'm getting very good feedback from the crane and it makes the work go quickly, smoothly and safely. Sehr gut, "says Marek Dytman.
